THIBS LOVES BURKS, Knicks Protest Rockets Game

The New York Knicks traded for Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks last week from the Detroit Pistons. Alec Burks was a Knick prior in 2020 and 2021, and any Knick fan that remembers knows that Thibs chose to utilize him as a backup point guard at times when injuries forced him to do so.

 

Deuce McBride deserves real minutes still, but Thibs has fallen in love with ballhandling Alec Burks once again, and Deuce's minutes have dropped dramatically in these last 2 games.

 

The Knicks filed a protest last night to the NBA for the ending of the Houston Rockets game from Monday night. NY is hoping the league ill overturn the ending sequence of the game and either take away their loss from the record books or play a 5 minute overtime period against Houston on a later date.
