Joe Yolk (@joeylandolfa) and TreDuse (@TheNYPostman on Twitter and @thenewyorkpostman on IG) are back after a mini hiatus this week with very special guest Trippy. Trippy (real name LaVonte) is the host of the Knickn30 podcast. (Follow him on youtube and instagram @knickn_30 and @trippyog_ts). The 3 talk about the four dudes who have looked the most jacked and like they spent the most time in the gym between Randle, RJ, IQ, and Mitch during the offseason. It starts with Mitch having a make-or-break (hopefully not literally) year and how important it is for him to stay healthy for his own future contract as well as for the performance of this team. While talking about Mitch and his past performance, Joe once again leads the boys down an Elfrid Payton slandering tangent. Once they get back on track, they jump to IQ and the range between him potentially losing minutes this year in a crowded guard room which includes Rose, Kemba, McBride, and Burks versus him being the person that can open things up most for Randle this year. They also go back and forth about Kevin Knox putting work in the offseason and how Frank really wants Knox to be an unsung hero this year, while Trippy and Joe try to talk him off of Knox Island. Lastly they finish up with the overall importance of Randle and RJ still being the backbone of the team, as well as what a hypothetical move for Zion Williamson looks like a couple years down the road. Their producer, Vin (@modelobeckham on Twitter and IG), finishes up with some questions for the boys and Frank turns on his favorite GM mode a couple times throughout the podcast.
